Abstrak
Penelitian ini menganalisis praktik pernikahan dalam masa Iddah di Desa Wonosuko yang
dipengaruhi oleh beberapa hal, seperti tradisi lokal, tekanan sosial, dan faktor ekonomi. Tujuan
penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi kesenjangan antara hukum Islam dengan praktik di lapangan
tentang iddah, serta mengungkap faktor-faktor penyebab penyimpangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan
pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologis melalui wawancara, observasi, dan kajian
dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa praktik Iddah sering diabaikan akibat pemahaman
yang terbatas, tekanan ekonomi, dan pengaruh tradisi. oleh karenanya, diperlukan pendekatan
edukasi hukum Islam yang kontekstual dan dukungan sosial-ekonomi untuk memastikan penerapan
syariah yang sejalan dengan konteks lokal.

Abstract
This study analyzes the practice of marriage during the Iddah period in Wonosuko Village, influenced by various
factors such as local traditions, social pressures, and economic conditions. The research aims to identify the gaps
between Islamic law and its practical implementation regarding Iddah and to uncover the factors causing
deviations. This study employs a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method through interviews,
observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that Iddah practices are often neglected due to limited
understanding, economic pressures, and traditional influences. Therefore, a contextual Islamic legal education
approach and socio-economic support are needed to ensure the implementation of Sharia aligns with the local
context.
